NEC introduced its new MultiSync X462UN, a 46-inch ultra-narrow LCD display panel for video wall configurations in Digital Signage for professional environments such as utilities, retail, transportation design. MultiSync X462UN features ultra-thin bezel that allows for a screen-to-screen distance between two adjacent X462UN displays of only 7.3 millimeters.
It features new technology that improves the brightness stability Edge Comp for a more even picture across the video wall. The screen has 1366 × 768 native resolution, 3000:1 contrast, 500cd/m2 brightness. It offers DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI-D digital inputs, Ethernet port, slot, RS-232 port.
Designed for video wall application that X462UN TileMatrix (supports up to 10 × 10), TileComp, copy functions, and individual or group ID functions. It will be available in September for $ 4,699.

Sony has introduced new Sony BRAVIA NX710 and Sony BRAVIA NX810 LCD TV. It supports full high definition 3D possibilities in home entertainment. Both have an ultra-stylish BRAVIA monolithic construction. They are also models with 46-inch and 55-inch diagonal screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (HD).
In 2D mode, the Sony Bravia Motionflow 100Hz Pro NX710, NX810, while Motionflow 200Hz Pro Sony Bravia. Both TVs are packages Dynamic Edge LED backlight, discovering the incredibly sharp images, smooth movement and high contrast.
Sony Bravia NX710 and NX810 brings a 2.1 sound system, Bravia Internet Video, Internet and BRAVIA widget for access to social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter and Flickr. No word on pricing.

NEC has rolled out two new entry-level Professional LCD Displays, they are the NEC E461 and E551. They offer users a cost-effective solution for retail stores, waiting rooms and conference rooms. There is the 46-inch E461 and 55-inch E551, they both feature a 1920x1080p Full HD resolution,up to 5000:1 contrast ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, built-in ATSC/NTSC/QAM analog/digital tuner, built-in closed captioning and integrated CONEQ Sound technology. They both also come with a swivel stand which allows either to be wall mounted.
The E461 and E551 both offers HDMI inputs, D-sub, composite and S-video inputs as well. The E461 and E551 will be available in August for $999 and $1,499, respectively.
